Watermelon Granita
This is a great, summertime drink. It's refreshing and good for you. I make this in a Vitamix, but any blender that is good at crushing ice should work okay.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 pounds watermelon
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 1/2 large strawberries, or some black raspberries
- ice
Directions
- Puree the melon, lime juice and strawberries until they are very smooth.
- Add 3-4 handfulls of ice and blend at a lower speed. Go for a "slushy" consistency.
- Serve Immediately
